Start with the photos
Four areas tell most of the story.
Infinite Fairway product pages use photos from the exact source listing. Review every available angle because two clubs with the same model name can have very different wear.
Sole
Normal turf marks and surface scratches are common. Deep gouges, unusual grinding, or visible damage deserve closer review.
Crown and topline
On woods and hybrids, check for chips, skymarks, and dents. On irons, look at the topline and hosel from more than one angle.
Shaft and grip
Confirm the shaft label, visible finish, and grip condition. Ask when a label, length, or grip detail is not clear in the listing.

What the condition labels mean.

Listed as new in the source inventory. Confirm packaging, tags, and any seller notes on eBay.
May be unused but open-box, without original packaging, or otherwise outside a standard retail-new presentation. Read the eBay notes.
Previously owned or played. The amount and location of wear can vary, so the exact photos are the most useful evidence.

Cosmetic versus functional
Marks that matter differently.
Usually cosmetic
Light sole scratches, normal bag chatter, small paint chips away from the striking area, and ordinary grip discoloration are often visual issues. Their importance depends on your preference and the price.
Worth a closer look
Dents, cracks, bends, heavy face wear, damaged grooves, loose heads, altered hosels, deep crown marks, or unclear shaft labels need additional confirmation. If the photos do not answer the question, use the Ask About This Club form on the product page.
Fit still matters
Condition does not replace fit. Confirm handedness, club number, loft, flex, shaft material, and length when those specifications are important to your set.
