- No account, no email, no app
- Something you can measure

**The answer comes first**

Your plan appears the moment you finish the questions. Nothing is held back behind a form.

**One thing at a time**

One focus, one exercise, one measurement. Not a list of nine swing thoughts.

**Honest about what it knows**

Six questions cannot diagnose a swing. Every recommendation says how much it is actually based on.

**No pressure to buy**

We sell used clubs. When your answers do not show an equipment problem, the guide says keep what you have.

Start here

## Three ways in. All of them free.

[Or answer six questions instead](https://www.infinitefairway.com/golf-guide/assessment?hsLang=en)

### [Never played, or coming back Start Golfing What happens at a course, which tees to play, how many clubs you actually need, and what to do when you lose a ball. Enough to get round nine holes without feeling out of place. Get ready for a first nine](https://www.infinitefairway.com/golf-guide/start?hsLang=en)

### [Playing already, inconsistently Get Consistent Counted exercises organised by the problem they address, the time they take, and the evidence they need. Every one has a number you can compare against last week. Find one exercise worth doing](https://www.infinitefairway.com/golf-guide/practice?hsLang=en)

### [Unsure about your clubs Find Your Clubs What club condition actually means, how to tell a real distance gap from an imagined one, and when the right answer is to keep the clubs you already own. Work out what you need](https://www.infinitefairway.com/golf-guide/equipment?hsLang=en)

What you get

## One focus. One exercise. One number.

Here is a real output. A golfer who plays a few times a year, has fifteen minutes a week, and reports three-putting gets this, and nothing else:

Your one focus

### Lag Putting: finish in the zone

Most three-putts are a distance problem rather than a direction problem. Leaving the first putt close removes the second mistake.

Time this week**15 minutes**

What you will count**First putts inside the zone, out of 10**

Review on**After four weekly counts**

Plate 07

Inside the zone: 7 of 10

Roll ten more

The ten-ball count. Two markers three feet short and three feet past the hole make a six foot finishing zone. Putt ten balls from twenty feet and count how many finish inside it. The number is the point, not the holed putts, because the number is the only thing that can be compared to last week.

The curriculum

## Six pillars, written for recreational golfers.

Original material, written plainly, with the review status printed on every record. Where a method is contested, the guide says so and offers an experiment rather than a rule.

### Golf Foundations

Comfort with the basic movement, and a way to tell whether a session helped.

Grip and setup, safe practice, where the club meets the ground, what to do with a short session.

### First Round

Enough confidence to turn up and take part.

Etiquette, check-in, pace, which tees to play, course safety, preparing for nine holes.

### Short Game

Repeatable results from inside about fifty yards.

Putting distance control, chipping choices, landing targets, an introduction to bunkers.

### Full Swing

Better observation of your own ball flight, without amateur diagnosis.

Ball flight basics, intentional practice, common contact patterns, and what a lesson is for.

### Course Management

Fewer strokes given away before the swing starts.

Targets with margin, realistic misses, penalties, recovery decisions, time management.

### Equipment Explained

Confident purchases, and the confidence to not buy.

Club categories, length, flex, loft, condition, grip wear, buying used, the limits of fit guidance.

How it works over time

## Practice, play, review, improve. Then go round again.

A focus is only worth having if you can tell whether it helped. So every exercise produces a count, and every count is compared against your own previous count rather than against anyone else.

The review takes under a minute: one thing that went well, one thing that cost you most, and whether the current focus is still the right one. A missed week does not reset anything, and nothing here needs to happen during a round.

**If four weeks show no direction, the guide tells you to change the exercise or see a professional.** It will not keep handing you the same plan.

[Read the after-round review](https://www.infinitefairway.com/golf-guide/learn#after-round-review)

Plate 12

Pick one focus before you practice. Practice it with a count. Play without having to do anything during the round. Review in under a minute afterwards. Change the focus only when the numbers say to.

Where the money comes from

## We sell used clubs. That is exactly why this says what it says.

Infinite Fairway makes its money on used equipment and repairs. The guide is free and always will be, and it is built so that a recommendation to buy has to be earned.

Equipment suggestions only appear when your answers show a need. If you own a full set and nothing points at a real distance gap, the guide says keep using what you have, and gives you a condition and fit checklist instead. A gap has to be measured, in yards, before it is named.

Any club we do suggest is a real, in-stock listing with photographs of the actual item. Price, shipping and returns are confirmed on the listing itself.

Plate 09

Largest step in this bag: 55 yards

7 iron carry Fairway wood carry

A step of about twenty-five yards or more is worth filling. This one is.

A carry ladder built from your own shots. The copper band is the gap. A step of about twenty-five yards or more is worth filling. Anything smaller is not, however it feels. Change the two distances below and watch the verdict change with them.

Six questions

## It takes about two minutes, and asks for nothing.

No email address, no account, no download. Your plan appears on the screen, and the link to it reopens the same plan on any device.
